Overview
Twilio is a cloud communications platform that enables SMS, voice, WhatsApp, and email messaging through a simple API. By connecting Twilio to Halies, your AI Halies can trigger outbound messages based on user actions or agent outcomes — such as sending a confirmation SMS after a booking, a follow-up message after a support session, or a re-engagement nudge after inactivity.
Configuration Steps
Log into Twilio and retrieve your Account SID, Auth Token, and a Twilio phone number
In Halies, go to Integrations → Twilio and enter your credentials
Choose the agent events that should trigger an outbound message
Select the message type (SMS, WhatsApp, or voice)
Write your message template using Halies dynamic variables (e.g.,
{{user_name}},{{task_result}})Map the recipient phone number field to the correct user attribute in Halies
Send a test message to your own number to verify delivery
